Our Home page contains links to several publications, articles and
online resources which can help you make an informed
decision.
We elected to charge for listing ads on this service in order to be
sure that our ads are current. There are other free listing sites
which have many listings which have been on there for a year. These
listings are no longer valid as the hay has either been sold long ago or
the hay is no longer needed. In order to make sure that all of the
listings on our site are current we have implemented a program where we
manually monitor the ads to be sure that they are not too old and no one
is wasting their time emailing or calling a party who no longer has or
wants the product.
Another reason we are charging to list is because on the other sites
there are certain producers and brokers who list the same ad over and over
and over on the Wanted Ads. In one instance we found a party who
listed the same ad in the Wanted Ads over 20 times in one day. While
we do not mind multiple ads for different products, we will not allow
multiple copies of identical ads in the same category. We are trying
to discourage the abuses to the Hay Classifieds! system we have found on
other sites.
We charge only a minimal fee of $3.00 per ad for a 30 day run.
After that time you will have to re-list your ad. We also have options for
which charges are incurred such as Featured Ads, Gallery Ads, Photo Ads,
Highlighted Ads and a "Buy it NOW!" option.
All members have available to them a full service classified ad
posting system with features in a format similar to major auctions sites.
Please NOTE that this is NOT an auction. We are contemplating a real
Hay Auctions! site attached to this site but that will be in the future
based upon your opinions and ideas.
We hope by using these options you will be able to sell or
find your hay faster.
The administration of this site spends much time researching and
looking for new links and information to add to this site. We really
want to make this the ONLY one stop shop on the internet for all your hay
needs.

refunds will be issued for any ads removed for violations of these

The fact of the matter is you DON'T. While the majority of
producers, brokers and buyers are honest hardworking folks, there have
been cases where scam artists have practiced their trade. We advise
that you take care when making ANY deal over the internet with someone or
a company you do not know or when responding to an unsolicited email.
We consider emails which are sent regarding hay from a listing on this
site to be a SOLICITED email. Please keep in mind that we post email
addresses so that buyers and sellers may contact each other. We also
post phone numbers so that phone calls can be made between the parties.
The management of this site DOES NOT endorse nor recommend ANY
producer, broker, buyer, company or product advertised, posted or sold on
this site.
We recommend that you speak personally to the party to whom you are
dealing. It IS common practice for producers and brokers to be paid
IN ADVANCE for their hay PRIOR to a truck being sent out to the pick up
point. It is also common practice that if checks are accepted by a
producer or broker, the hay is NOT loaded until that check clears the
bank.
Many producers and brokers are now using wire transfers as their
payment option of choice because this eliminates the 7 day waiting period
for the check to clear. Some folks are also using Western Union,and
Money Orders, PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT A CERTIFIED
CHECK FROM ANY BUYER YOU ARE NOT PERSONALLY FAMILIAR WITH.
